Connecting your Garmin chartplotter display to the Yamaha engine data interface can be accomplished by using a J1939/engine connection or an NMEA 2000® network connection. When complete, your engine data connection allows you to monitor vital boat functions and the performance of up to five Yamaha outboards on a single screen.
